100+ original concepts developed and 30+ licensed to leading toy companies. We identify market opportunities and engineer products from the ground up.
20+ products manufactured with a hands-on, engineering-first approach. We manage factories, tooling, quality control, and logistics from start to finish.
15+ products brought to market — from initial concept through retail placement. We manage the full commercialization process, for our own brands and our clients.
DiscoNifty is a product invention and development studio founded by Rob Schuyler in the Fall of 2016. We take ideas from concept to market — handling engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, and launch. We work across consumer products, developing original IP and partnering with companies to bring new products to life. Our studio is based in the heart of the Junction Triangle, Toronto — come visit us and say hi!
Rob is a mechanical engineer who developed and launched hit products at Spin Master — including Rocket Fishing Rod. He founded DiscoNifty bringing an engineering-first mindset to every stage of the business: from invention and product development to launch strategy, commercialization, and growth.
Kristin holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell and an M.S. from Stanford, and honed her craft in product development at Fisher-Price. She leads toy invention and development at DiscoNifty, guiding concepts from early ideation through engineering, prototyping, and production.

Got an idea, a prototype, or a product that needs launching? We'd love to hear about it.
